In 2025, something extraordinary happened in our Michigan pumpkin patch. From a single plant grew two championship pumpkins — a rare feat that amazed growers across the country.

The first pumpkin, named Gourdetta,

Gourdetta won the Michigan State Fair on August 26th .winning 2-k prize money and crowned grand champion .
Clementine the second pumpkin weighed 1,532 pounds, harvest September 12 th it also won the prestigious Howard Dill Award for prettiest pumpkin winning $800 in West Virginia.

Adding to the magic: the seed line itself came from a previous Howard Dill Award winner, proving that great genetics — and a lot of care — can make miracles happen.
